Timberroot Founder & CEO, Frank May, and COO Autumn Adams spoke to staff reporter Emily Crisman of the Chattanooga Times Free Press about the new Conestoga wagon glamping experience, the Timberoot Rustic Retreats vison, and our future plans for expanding our portfolio of vacation rental resorts.

The property, owenrd and operated by Timberroot Rustic Retreats, is situated on 17 wooded acres near Cherokee National Forest and the small town of Benton, Tennessee, and boasts more than 900 feet of waterfront property on the Ocoee River. 

Guests have access to a riverside pavilion and dock for tubing, swimming, and fishing, and other outdoor activities on site include a basketball court, meadow for Frisbee and football, hammocks, swings, and chairs in the creekside sitting area. 

The property also offers six log cabins for rent, and visitors can hike, fly fish, mountain bike, horseback ride, zipline, or drive around to take in the views. 

Frank May, the owner, aims to deliver unique experiences and provide places of shelter and peace for people to connect with nature and each other.

Timberroot currently operates three properties in the southern Appalachian Region, and is currently building a new resort adjacent to Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina.
