Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to work under and assist our Maintenance Supervisor at Wauhatchie Woodlands, a premier vacation rental company in Chattanooga, TN. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance Supervisor in completing various maintenance tasks on our rental properties.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as spa maintenance, groundskeeping, and minor repairs
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues with rental units
  • Complete maintenance work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Assist with construction and development projects as needed
  • Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize and schedule daily tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shop and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must be available to work weekends and evenings as needed
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits Package

Salary: $17-$18/hour based on experience
